The Associate Director for Global Market Research and Analytics (Oncology) will be responsible to deliver actionable insights across Global and U.S. for an oral oncology product in an alliance with another pharmaceutical company. Responsibilities in this role include synthesis of both Primary Market Research and Analysis of Secondary Data. You will be expected to be a Strategic Partner who proactively engages with Brand teams to address key business questions to inform Strategic Choices and Tactical Execution.

Primary Responsibilities:

  • Frame Key Business Questions to inform Brand Strategy and Tactical Execution.

  • Lead conversations with Brand teams (US and Global) to ensure business decisions are grounded in strong insights.

  • Synthesize crisp, clear action-oriented insights from wide range of sources that integrates both primary market research and secondary data.

  • Design market research plans with appropriate rigor/ methodologies to deliver deep, actionable insights to guide business decisions.

  • Develop analytics plans to answer Key Business Questions and partner with analytics teams to deliver sound robust analysis.

  • Inform Forecast assumptions based on customer insights.

  • Maintain visibility into Market research and Analytics across stakeholder groups (physician, patient, payer, diagnostics).

  • Collaborate with Insights & Analytics counterparts (US and Global) within alliance.

  • Lead delivery of insights for strategic forums (i.e. Annual Business Planning, Insights Day, Forecasting, Launch Readiness Reviews, Competitive Workshops).

  • Proactively monitor business against Key Performance Indicators leveraging secondary data and primary market research to identify opportunities and challenges.

  • Conduct all activities in full compliance with our company's policies, values, and standards.

Education:

  • Bachelor's Degree required

  • MBA or Post-graduate degree preferred

Required Experience and Skills:

  • At least 3 years of experience in US pharma Marketing/ Market Research using both primary and secondary data sets

  • Demonstrated Leadership partnering with Marketing to deliver Insights to shape Strategic Choices and Tactical Execution for Product Launches

  • Strong collaborator who can build effective relationships with significant number of stakeholders across multiple organizations and geographies

  • Aptitude for effective communication of Market Research and Analytic Insights to Senior Leaders with clear story-telling

  • Capacity to leverage insights from cross-functional teams (Field, Medical, Market Access, Competitive Intelligence)

  • Proactive mindset to anticipate where the market is moving and how external events/ competitors may affect the future landscape

  • Well-developed analytical skills, strong problem-solving and demonstrated ability to think strategically and objectively are required

  • Able to achieve results while dealing with ambiguity and rapid pace of change

Preferred Experience and Skills:

  • In-depth of Oncology knowledge is an significant advantage, especially in ovarian, breast, prostate, and/or pancreatic cancers
