Job Description
The Health Economics manager is responsible for designing and developing the local strategy for Health Economics, Pricing and Reimbursement Plans Aligned to marketing/commercial strategies, participating in the preparation of Market Access strategies for MSD products and proposing adequate prices for public and private market in order to reduce time to market and achieve our government inclusion goals.
Responsibilities:
- Design, develop and implement health economics/pharma economics evaluations incorporating all clinical and economic data enabling to demonstrate MSD products value
- Support the creation of Pricing & Reimbursement strategic plan; in order to ensure reimbursement/funding of MSD portfolio in main Peru´s accounts (public & private)
- Develop pharmaeconomics tools and train KAM & AM’s to influence public payers, Key Decision Makers and Decision Influencers.
- Develop strategies that reduce inclusion and access timelines (time to market) to public market for MSD new launches.
- Elaborate innovative proposals of "risk-sharing" or "financial-based schemes" that could be adopted in the public and private market.
- Support the interaction of the Access team with HEOR governmental agencies and pharmaceutical associations to monitor, influence and shape public healthcare policies.
- Work collaboratively with local Access Team and Regional Market Access Health Economics Outcome Research/Pricing Team.
Qualifications:
- Previous experience in pharmaeconomics evaluations (at least one year) with similar position in pharmaceutical industry.
- Collaboration in Public Health Sector is a plus.
- Bachelor’s degree in health economics, Economy or Actuary, with experience in pharmaeconomics and Diplomate or master’s in health economics.
- Advanced English level
