Job Description

Required Education and Experience:
The ideal candidate will have a PhD degree in Immunology (1-2 years of industry experience preferred) or masters degree with at least seven years’ experience in pharma/biotech industry and deep immunology knowledge.
Responsibilities
You will work in team that supports early development of novel therapeutics for autoimmune and inflammatory disease indications.
You will be responsible for validating novel Immunology targets to advance to small and large molecule drug discovery programs to clinical candidates.
Your responsibilities will include the development and execution of experimental strategies to define biomarkers, mechanism of action and mechanism of resistance to therapeutic agents.
You will be expected to keep abreast of published scientific literature and present his/her data at internal group meetings.
You will be an individual contributor with deep scientific curiosity, will work well independently and will drive multi-disciplinary teams, and be able to work on several projects simultaneously.
Required Skills
You must have strong background in Immunology with expertise with primary immune cell isolation and stimulation, multi-parameter flow cytometry and possess a deep knowledge of technologies commonly used to assess immune cell endpoints.
You should have experience in developing in vitro and in vivo assays to investigate immune function, basic biochemical and molecular biology techniques- qPCR, CRISPR, lentiviral transductions. Ability to analyze transcriptomic data preferred.
You should have strong track record of scientific publications.
You should be self-motivated, strong team player with excellent oral and written communication skills, multi-tasking skills and with a demonstrated ability to work independently to design experiments, interpret data, troubleshoot, and suggest next steps.
